CTS welcomes and encourages the leadership of students. Students have representation and vote on most seminary committees. In addition, the student body elects six students to serve on the faculty’s Academic Council each year, two of whom represent the students at meetings of the seminary Board of Trustees.
Students may also participate in student groups recognized, funded and supported by the seminary. While these organizations have identities and missions that reflect the larger commitments of CTS, they also support the particular interests, commitments, passion and creativity that students bring with them each year. Groups are governed by the students, however, all members of the community are welcome to take part, and you will often find faculty and staff participating in student-initiated gatherings. |
